I recently started as a Frontend Engineer with Spruce Health and it’s been an awesome experience. I’ll confess I didn’t know a lot about the product space prior, but something I’ve learned through this process is how important the people on the team I work with are to me and my happiness. Spruce has a great team full of engaged, friendly, and supportive people that have made me feel welcome.

I recently finished Zoe’s Tale and now reading The Human Division (pushing through the whole Old Man’s War). Also recently finished Automatic Noodle, which is a really fun read about former war robots that just want to make noodles.
On another note, while I’m still trying to use my v1 Paperwhite, I factory restored it because I really don’t like the interface on koreader. I’m holding out as long as I can before finally replacing it.
My wife is now interested in Game of Thrones, so I’ve been watching that again. We recently finished the most recent season Wrexham and I’ve had the World Cup on pretty much constantly.
Well, I’m constantly trying new apps, and episodes like this one from MPU do me no favors because my FOMO kicks in and I have to try them all. I’m currently evaluating Sequel as a potential Sofa replacement. I’m also trying out cmux for terminals, not just because of it’s solid notifications for coding agents, but because of the vertical tabs and workspace organization.
