I think it's great that you blogged about this because I too have the curse of surrounding myself with picky eaters when I will eat (and love) just about anything (unless it's served on a reality tv show).

Take my GF for example:
Does not consume "land meat" (poultry, pork, beef, etc.), catfish, large shrimp, plantains, stinky cheeses, bananas, veggies without one of the following: olive oil + garlic, butter and/or cheese; baked beans, brussel sprouts, leafy greens, dark chocolate, white chocolate, cocoa-flavored anything, coffee or coffee flavored anything, teas, most veggie burgers, most soy/imitation meat products (can't say i blame her), alfredo sauce, peppers, cilantro and anything too spicy.

But despite the challenges of menu planning and finding restaurants we both want to eat at, we seem make it work - and work well...

Oh, and how about the irony that someone named "Jalapeno" doesn't have a reputation for loving spicy food...

Ponch also does not eat warm fruits and will not taste anything off anyone's plate. So make sure to get all the good stuff on your plate.
